BRIEF ABOUT MRC

Mahallah Ummu Sallamah Representatives Committee ( MRC) was established since 2008. Almost one and half years after the establishment of Mahallah Ummu Salamah Representatives Committee ,we are still active in organizing the programs on the Mahallah level for the benefit of its residents.

Some may question, what is the MRC? Who are they? Why are they appointed? In what way can they be beneficial?

The Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC) is the foundation of the students an essential medium of change. Being as the voice of the students regardless locally and internationally, it is the biggest student’s organization in this campus since it embodied every students living in every mahallah.

There are one MRC in each mahallah and their task is to be as a platform for the residents to voice out their problems and dissatisfactions while staying in their own respective mahallah. Then, together we will cooperate to provide solutions in overcoming the problems for the betterment of the university. How can they understand the needs of the residents? Simple! They themselves are the residents. They know what the residents want.

Their task not only bounded on the resident’s welfare only. They have the abilities to turn ideas into beneficial mahallah based programmes. Residents must be alert that they paid certain amount of fees to study in this campus and budget for student programmes is allocated for them every year. Thus, they should utilize it for their own benefit.

This can be materialize by seeking assistant from the MRC themselves. Residents are welcomed to the MRC’s operation room ( A-2-8) or contact any of the MRC to give ideas and join the programmes held by them. By cooperating together between the residents and the MRC added with the sense of brotherhood and high commitment, Triple ICE can be achieve fully.
